Why Orbit
Group names like |UK| SPORTS ᴴᴰ, UK - Sport and [GB] all end up under United Kingdom › Sports, and channel names are cleaned too.
SD, HD, FHD and 4K copies become one channel that plays the best version, with the others kept as backups.
If a stream drops, Orbit reconnects, then switches to a backup copy or to the same channel from your second provider.
Scan the code on the TV and type your provider's login on your phone, not with the remote. Backups and restores work the same way.
Everyone at home gets their own history, My List and a Home screen that learns what they like to watch.
Other players
TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro, OTT Navigator, Perfect Player and Televizo are other popular IPTV players for Fire TV. See how Orbit compares with TiviMate and IPTV Smarters.
Questions
Fire TV devices on Fire OS 6 or later, and Android TV or Google TV devices on Android 6 or later. It's tuned to stay smooth on 1 GB sticks. Fire TVs running Vega OS can't run Android apps, so Orbit can't run on them.
Not at the moment. You install it from this site with the free Downloader app, and Orbit then updates itself when a new version is out. The install guide takes about two minutes.
Yes. Orbit plays M3U and M3U8 playlists (with catch-up where the playlist supports it) and Xtream Codes logins, which bring live TV, films, series and the guide in one go. It also reads XMLTV guides, and you can add more than one provider.
Orbit is a media player, like any video player app: it contains no channels, films or series and doesn't link to any. Whether what you watch is legal depends on the service you use and where you live, so only use services you have the right to watch.
Sign up, set Orbit up with your provider and see your channels tidied before you pay.
